Flower and Industrial Show winners

SILVERWARE: Some of the successful competitors at Orkney Horticultural and Industrial Association's two main events of the year - the County Flower Show in August and the Chrysanthemum, Dahlia and Industrial Show in September - received their trophies at a presentation ceremony at the St Magnus Centre in Kirkwall on Friday night. A number of prizewinners were unable to attend the trophy presentation event because of the wintry weather last Friday night. The prizes were presented by Glenda Sinclair of St Ola (fifth from left), who also gave a talk about plant growing and show preparation. County Show exhibitors celebrate
