Jobs to go at Flotta terminal

UP to 20 jobs are to go at Flotta Oil Terminal as part of plans to secure the
facility's long-term future, operator Talisman Energy (UK) has
announced today, Monday.
The company confirmed in a statement that it has been
reviewing the organisational structure at Flotta, and this has
highlighted what it described as 'areas for potential operational and
cost efficiencies which we are addressing through a
reorganisation'.
The statement continued: "The revised structure is designed to help secure the long-term future of the terminal. Manning levels will reduce and contractor personnel involved have been informed. Talisman will support the employers in their efforts to redeploy those concerned."
